DD, you were such an inspiration... You made me laugh, and sometimes took my breath away with your outright straightforwardness but that's why I loved you so much. You kept me company on those LONG nights when neither of us could fall asleep. And now, because of you, one of my very FAVORITE drinks is vodka and cranberry juice! I miss that little chef at the bottom of your e mail, I miss your spirit and your zest for life, even though it was a difficult one for you.
